Set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools, including lathes, milling machines, and grinders. Read blueprints and specifications, create and assemble patterns from various materials, and inspect machined parts using precision measuring instruments.

Set up, operate, repair, and adjust production machinery and machine tools, and fit or assemble components to close tolerances. Inspect products, maintain and calibrate measuring instruments, complete inspection records, and support injection-molding production and equipment changeovers.

Operate machines, equipment, or hand tools to cut, shape, splice, and fit plastic materials into parts and assemblies. Inspect manufactured plastic products for defects and compliance with specifications and quality standards, prepare inspection reports, and make minor adjustments or repairs.
