Job Title: Business Systems Analyst Location: Toronto, ON (4 days onsite per week) Duration: 6-month contract Key Responsibilities Gather and document business and technical requirements for API integrations. Define API specifications, interface requirements, and data mappings. Analyze REST API requests/responses and troubleshoot integration issues. Write SQL queries to validate and reconcile data across systems. Create process flows, sequence diagrams, and integration documentation. Support API validation, integration testing, and UAT. Collaborate with vendors and technical teams to deliver integration solutions. Must-Have Skills 8+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience in enterprise environments. Strong experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, and API integrations. Hands-on experience with Postman and/or Swagger. Strong SQL skills and cross-system data validation experience. Experience documenting API specifications, interface requirements, and data mappings. Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Requirements

Requires 8+ years of business systems analysis experience in enterprise environments, with strong expertise in REST APIs, JSON/XML, API integrations, and Postman and/or Swagger. Candidates must also have strong SQL and cross-system data validation skills, experience documenting API requirements and mappings, knowledge of SDLC and Agile, and strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
