We are seeking an accomplished and highly motivated developer for our GenAI Workflows team – someone with a proven track record of delivering robust ML-based solutions in fast-paced, innovative production environments. In this role you will join a cross-functional team working through complex challenges with a unique opportunity to shape the future of production and post-production workflows. As Senior Software Engineer within GenAI Workflows, you will collaborate closely with GenAI-powered VFX stakeholders to understand user needs and use your deep understanding of ML processes to create workflows and tools built on novel Netflix and Eyeline infrastructure. You will scale and improve prototypes developed by Research teams to ensure production readiness. You’ll participate in the development of the larger Eyeline platform by developing an ecosystem of tools targeted towards real-world production needs, adaptable to diverse environments on the most cutting-edge productions. Success in this role means being a confident and reliable developer, delivering technology that connects teams, simplifies workflows, and drives Eyeline’s unified vision forward. Key Responsibilities Develop software that drives our ML workflows across VFXproduction groups Support team leads and project managers by contributing to project roadmaps to ensure timely and successful delivery of complex projects Develop and drive quality assurance practices to ensure that features are validated in production Identify, communicate, and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery Collaborate with other developers across software and core engineering teams to support our “one team” principle – delivering consistency and cross-functional alignment through shared roadmaps and priorities Ensure development adheres to established standards and best practices, through communication, documentation, and participation in code review Inform infrastructure requirements and investments to support these new technologies at scale in production Participate in a positive and collaborative work environment that fosters innovation and continuous learning Explore new technology and enthusiastically bring ideas, frameworks, and products to your team. Qualifications Minimum ten (10) years Python software development experience Self-directed, proactive, detailed, organized and solution-oriented personality Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills Ability to design intuitive and well structured APIs using OOP Experience designing dynamic and artist-friendly UI/UX Experience developing tools for VFX, animation, and/or real-time production environments Experience using GenAI tools such as ComfyUI in production Understanding of the lifecycle of ML models, from data curation and pre-processing, to training and inference The ideal candidate also has exposure to render farm management, large scale batch queuing and/or distributed compute systems. $165,000 - $200,000 CAD a year This salary range is specific to applicants applying to our position in Vancouver, Canada. To determine your base salary, we consider your qualifications, skills, and experience. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary outside of this range and will also be dependent on your location. Requirements
