Job Description As a Porter at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, you'll be among the first and last colleagues our guests encounter, playing an important role in creating exceptional arrival and departure experiences. Through warm hospitality, professionalism, and attention to detail, you'll assist guests with their luggage, provide information about our hotel and the city, coordinate transportation, and ensure every interaction reflects the exceptional service standards of our iconic Castle in the City. Safely transport guest luggage, packages, and personal belongings throughout the hotel. Escort guests to their guestrooms while introducing room features, hotel amenities, and services. Coordinate transportation requests and provide directions and recommendations for local attractions and points of interest. Deliver guest amenities, messages, packages, and other requested items promptly and professionally. Assist with luggage storage, retrieval, and accurate luggage control procedures. Maintain a visible and welcoming presence in the lobby while providing assistance to guests and supporting fellow colleagues. Work collaboratively with Concierge, Front Office, Royal Service, Housekeeping, Security, and other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of luggage storage areas, lobby spaces, and bell service equipment. Follow all hotel policies, service standards, health and safety procedures, and appearance standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications What We're Looking For Previous customer service experience in hospitality, tourism, travel, or another service-focused environment Previous hotel or luxury hotel experience is an asset A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills Professional appearance with a polished and friendly demeanor Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of Metro Vancouver and local attractions is an asset Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving abstract is preferred Additional language skills are considered an asset Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as required Physical Aspects of Position Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of up to 23 kg (50 lbs.) Frequent bending, reaching, kneeling, and climbing stairs Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions Additional Information Visa Requirements Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Requirements

Candidates should have previous customer service experience in hospitality or tourism and a professional demeanor. A valid Class 5 Driver's License and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting up to 50 lbs, are preferred.
