Provide calm, responsive support during meals, dressing, toileting and other daily routines as needed. Work collaboratively with fellow educators and campus leadership and build positive relationships with families. What You'll Bring: Alberta Early Childhood Educator certification - ECE Level 2 or 3 preferred. Experience working with preschool-aged children in an early learning environment is preferred. An understanding of early childhood development and age-appropriate learning. A warm, patient and responsive approach to working with children. The ability to follow established learning plans, routines and safety procedures while taking initiative when support is needed. Strong communication and teamwork skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and fellow educators. A vulnerable sector check and Emergency Child Care First Aid and CPR are required for the role. You’ll also need to be comfortable actively participating in indoor and outdoor activities with children throughout the day.
