Neerlandia Co-op is looking to grow our team and hiring additional Automotive Technician for their Service Centre in Neerlandia, AB. What you’ll do: * Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and alignments. * Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of light to medium duty vehicles. * Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs Maintain a clean and organized work environment. * Communicating with the Service Advisor about the status of vehicles to keep customers informed. * Using computerized testing equipment, conduct extensive diagnostic procedures to determine the sources of customers’ problems and provide accurate repair recommendations. * The Automotive Technician will report directly to the Service Centre Manager and align objectives with Neerlandia Co-op shared values, purpose, and vision. Who are you: Education and Experience * Valid high school diploma or equivalent * 1-3 years relevant experience * Apprentice or Journeyman Certification * Preference will be given to Journeyman or 3rd year apprentice Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Ability to work independently and as part of a team environment * High Attention to detail * Strong ability to assemble and disassemble mechanical components * Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build lasting relationships * Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written communication) * High level of energy with strong customer service skills * Ability to handle transactions accurately and be responsible * The ability and commitment to work in a safe manner What we offer: Benefits/Wage * $32-$42 (starting) * Yearly bonus * Paid vacation * Pension plan with employer matching * Health and Wellness Plan * Dental and Health benefits We thank all participants for their interest, however, only those who are selected for an interview will be contacted.
