This role will serve as a key member of the leadership team, partnering closely with the executive team to drive financial performance, support growth initiatives, and shape the company’s long-term strategy. This role will also champion process improvements, automation, and the adoption of modern financial technologies—including AI-driven tools—to transform and elevate the finance function. The successful candidate will bring a forward-thinking, digitally savvy approach to optimizing workflows, enhancing reporting, and enabling smarter, faster decision-making. The ideal candidate is a designated CPA with strong analytical capabilities and a proven track record of building high-performing teams, optimizing financial operations, and enabling data-driven decision-making in a high-growth environment. Key Responsibilities Financial Leadership & Strategy Act as a strategic advisor to the executive team on financial planning, growth, and expansion initiatives Lead the development of long-term financial strategy aligned with corporate objectives Translate business strategy into actionable financial plans and performance metrics Support capital planning, fundraising, and investor relations as needed Financial Planning & Analysis Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling across all business units Review financial results and identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities Develop insights on profitability levers, cost optimization, and revenue growth Establish KPIs and dashboards to enable real-time, data-driven decision-making Partner with operations and clinical leaders to align financial and business strategies Financial Reporting & Controls Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial statements in accordance with ASPE Strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial governance frameworks Lead audit processes, tax compliance, and coordination with external advisors Accounting & Finance Operations Provide oversight of day-to-day accounting operations, including A/R, A/P, payroll, inventory management and treasury Drive process improvements, automation, and scalability across finance functions by leveraging modern technologies, including AI, to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and insight generation Ensure compliance with regulatory, tax, and payroll requirements Oversee financial operations across a multi-entity organizational structure Team Leadership Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement Build and scale the finance function to support company growth and expansion Promote cross-functional collaboration across departments Act as a change agent to reimagine and modernize the finance function from the ground up, delivering strategic insights and building a nimble, high-impact team Qualifications CPA designation (required) in good standing 8–12+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership roles Experience in healthcare, technology, or high-growth environments Strong background in financial planning & analysis, reporting, and operational finance Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives Experience with ERP systems (preferably Odoo) and financial reporting tools Deep understanding of ASPE and IFRS standards Exceptional analytical, communication, and leadership skills Hands-on, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment Why Join FH Health?
