If you are a customer focused Journeyperson Heavy Duty Mechanic; embrace challenges, and thrive in an environment that values hard work and integrity, with ample opportunities for growth and development, Finning may be the next opportunity for you. • Wage: $42.62 - $51.57 - Additional $5.00 Field premium - Additional $3.50 Field premium • Paid Time Off in Year 1: Vacation, sick and 7 days flex time • 5.75% Employer paid pension, plus up to 1% additional • 6% voluntary Employee Share Purchase, earns 2% Finning match • 100% Employer paid medical benefits • CAT certified training: Additional certifications and skill development paid for by Finning Job Description: Trouble shoot, repair and maintain CAT equipment in either a shop or field environment (possibility of remote locations) Respond to customer needs in a positive, supportive, and timely manner to ensure maximum value for work performed. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required Providing support with reference to on-site safety requirements Maintain Finning Customer Service Commitment Specific Skills & Experience: Interprovincial Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Certification (Agriculture, Truck & Transport and Automotive will also be considered) Valid class 5 drivers license with a successful driver's abstract Strong experience in Electrical, Hydraulic and Emissions systems Engine and/or component rebuilding experience Transmission or Hydraulic testing knowledge Previous gas engine and power generation experience is an asset Previous customer experience would be considered an asset Important Details: A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing) and wear a respirator where applicable The shift will either be a 7x7 or 14x14 shift supporting all of Saskatchewan At Finning, we prioritize creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
