Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, our services are customized to respond to the dynamic and evolving security needs of both private and public sector clients. These include uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement and identification services. We are currently seeking a Commissionaire to join our growing team as a backfill guard. This posting is for an existing vacancy. Your commitment to serving the needs of our clients and employees will encourage client and employee loyalty and enhance our organization’s success. WHAT OUR EXCEPTIONAL COMMISSIONAIRES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR: Strong verbal and written communication skills Ensure access control is followed and client property is secured Monitor CCTV equipment Provide assistance to employees, clients and visitors Complete reporting requirements, daily logs and written reports as necessary Conduct patrols Assist the Regional Security Officer and site supervisor Conflict resolution Knowledge of company policies Prepares and conducts training for new hires and current staff including training on workplace searches and related safety and security topics. Maintain positive attitude and professional working relationships with employees, visitors and clients Maintain high standards of personal appearance and deportment Respond to alarms and utilization of alarm panels Should stay back over the scheduled hours if court is still running. After completion checking and securing all the doors on the floor assigned. Other duties as may be required by the client or Regional Manager WE ARE EXCITED FOR YOU TO OFFER US: *Mandatory* - Must hold a Valid Ontario Security Guard License. *Mandatory*– Valid WSIB accredited First Aid and CPR certificate *Mandatory* – Must be able to obtain a Level II (Secret) Clearance (resident in Canada 10 years or longer, clean record, clean credit history) Must be able to pass the CGL Use of Force certification X-Ray and Hand Held Metal Detector knowledge will be required Ability to stand/sit for a longer period of time. Ability to lift up to 25lbs items. Requirements
