We are looking for an AZ Licensed Transfer Driver to work overnights out of our Whitby Yard. Position Summary: As an AZ Transfer Driver with Flanagan Foodservice, you will be required to drive an AZ vehicle with up to two trains (lead and pup) between our resident yards and the Distribution Centre. What we offer you: * Competitive Compensation Package + an additional $2.00/hr driver incentive * Opportunity to be home every day! * Comprehensive Flexible Benefits effective from day one * Profit Sharing Program, Pension and RRSP plans * Uniform and Boot Allowance * Paid Personal Days and your Birthday! * Annual Health & Wellness Benefits * Family-Oriented Culture * Employee Recognition Program Key Responsibilities: * Safely and professionally operate company vehicles and equipment including conducting pre and post trip inspections, completion of required logs and reports. * Follow the Company’s policies and procedures * Ensure compliance to Ministry of Transportation rules and regulations * Ensure all safety standards are followed at all times * Maintain tractor as required to internal and government standards * Greet internal and external customers and suppliers professionally upon arrival * Follow safe and efficient work procedures to meet customer requirements including maintaining a clean and safe environment * Complete and keep up to date on all Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality Assurance training pertinent to the role * Responsible for reporting any and all concerns related to the Health & Safety, safe handling and integrity of all items received, stored and distributed by Flanagan Foodservice * Adherence to all Health & Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS practices Required Qualifications: * Valid AZ license with a clean driver’s abstract and CVOR * Minimum of 1 year AZ class driving experience * Good communication and customer service skills * Adherence to all Health & Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS practices * Flexible to work assigned schedules and complete route schedules as required * Ability to work in a verity of weather, climates and road conditions #HP
