Job Description The Project Manager plays a critical leadership role in delivering safe, high-quality, and cost-effective project execution across complex industrial environments. This position is accountable for the full project lifecycle, from planning and budgeting through execution and closeout, ensuring alignment with client expectations, regulatory requirements, and FLINT's operational excellence standards. Working collaboratively with clients, project controls, engineering, field operations, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders, the Project Manager is responsible for driving project performance across safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives while fostering strong relationships and effective communication throughout project execution. What would you be doing? Project Leadership & Execution Lead and manage projects from initiation through completion by: Executing projects in alignment with client requirements, contracts, and specifications. Providing leadership and direction to project teams across all phases of execution. Serving as the primary point of contact for client project representatives. Ensuring project objectives, scope, schedule, and deliverables are clearly communicated and achieved. Supporting successful project closeout and client handover activities. Project Planning & Controls Develop and oversee project plans to ensure successful execution, including: Safety Management Plans. Quality Management Plans. Materials and Equipment Plans. Subcontractor Management Plans. Cost and Schedule Control Plans. Change Management Plans. Project Controls Plans. Accounting and reporting requirements. Financial & Commercial Management Manage project financial performance by: Developing and maintaining project budgets and forecasts. Tracking project costs, progress, and scope changes. Monitoring project performance against established targets. Supporting contract administration and commercial obligations. Identifying and mitigating project risks and opportunities. Client Relations & Stakeholder Management Build and maintain strong relationships by: Acting as the primary liaison between FLINT and the client throughout the project lifecycle. Communicating project status, challenges, and opportunities effectively. Collaborating with engineers, subcontractors, operations teams, and key stakeholders. Ensuring client expectations are understood, managed, and met. Promoting a collaborative approach to project delivery. Safety, Quality & Continuous Improvement Support operational excellence by: Promoting and ensuring compliance with FLINT's safety standards and procedures. Addressing and resolving safety concerns proactively. Supporting quality objectives and project compliance requirements. Collaborating with leadership on process improvements and best practices. Contributing to lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. College Diploma in Construction Technology may be considered with extensive relevant industry experience. PMI certification or formal project management training is considered an asset. Demonstrated experience managing industrial construction, maintenance, turnaround, or energy sector projects. Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and project controls. Experience managing client relationships, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary project teams. Proven leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in dynamic project environments. Strong understanding of construction practices, contract management, and project execution methodologies.
