Do you have experience working with a grinder, and hand tools? Then this is the position for you! In this role, you will be assisting in the assembly and fabrication of custom architectural aluminum panels. The position is located at our Mississauga Branch which is located at Airport Road and Derry in Mississauga. This position will be reporting to the Metals Production Manager. Position available: Day Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00am -3:30pm What We Offer... -Training Available -Advancement within the company -Paid weekly -Located n a Bus Route (day shift only) -Full-time hours -Overtime opportunities -Uniform provided -$120 Safety Shoe allowance after 12 months of employment -Unlimited coffee and tea Responsibilities: Assembler Metals -Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies. -Read and interpret work orders. -Assemble metal sections and plates to produce complete units using power tools (ex. grinders, hand drills, rivet guns etc.). -Ensure quality standards are followed and ensure components meet all quality standards. -Perform quality inspections for completed components. -Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout the facility manually or with use of equipment. -Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all procedures and regulations. -Submit completed production documents daily.
