The primary responsibilities for the position include but are not limited to: Provision new automation nodes to increase capacity. Ensure health of existing automation nodes [devices under test, PCs, network, etc.] to guarantee uninterrupted test execution. Troubleshooting CI/CD pipeline issues. Maintain and contribute to the team's hardware and software solutions (scripts, hardware solutions, build systems, and related tools) to address issues, add or enhance functionality. Learn from others on the team and teach others on the team. You'll help ensure that electronics in Ford and Lincoln vehicles are secure. You'll be part of a team that values continuous learning and improvement. You'll help scale up Ford's security testing capacity. Qualifications You'll have... Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field. Experience: Minimum 3 years experience working in an embedded software test automation lab environment with hardware in the loop. Minimum 3 years experience with automotive technologies, protocols, and tools. Minimum 3 years experience in Object-oriented software development including unit testing. Solid understanding of Linux commands and/or bash/shell scripting, SSH, etc. Understanding of Windows OS and networking concepts. Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g.: JIRA), and source code versioning control systems (GitHub). Experience with CI/CD (continuous integration/continuous deployment) systems (e.g.: GitHub Actions, Jenkins). Even better, you may have... Experience: Advanced wired and wireless network troubleshooting skills (familiarity with networking components, protocols/standards, etc.) Experience with Ford Motor Company processes, procedures, and tool chains a plus. Python development experience a plus. Analytical with the ability to root-cause problems creatively and effectively. Proficient verbal and written communication skills. The expected annual salary range for this Ford of Canada position is $96,000.00 - $146,000.00 and individuals may be eligible to participate in our Annual Compensation bonus program.
