Job summary

Foremost has an immediate opening for a full-time Mechanical Apprentice 3rd or 4th Year located at our facility in Calgary, Alberta. Reporting to the Mechanical Assembly Foreman, this role is responsible to be working under the direction of more senior employees in accordance with normal Apprentice regulation until necessary schooling and then elevated to higher classification. Responsibilities * An Apprentice works under direction and/or verbal instruction of more senior employees in accordance with normal Apprentice regulation until necessary schooling is completed and then is elevated to higher classification * Work with direction drawings, sketches, layout boards, etc., and/or verbal instructions * Install or assemble any major or minor subassemblies for any type of vehicle or rig * Ensure assemblies meet quality and performance requirements * Maintain a set of tools required to perform assembly functions * Perform other tasks related to his/her classification Qualifications * Attain Journeyman status within five (5) years if registration * Experience an asset * Hand tools required * Safety Training an asset but will train as required What we Offer * Competitive Compensation. * In-depth Safety Program.
