Your New Role As a Building Operator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and monitoring of a commercial office property. Working alongside an experienced operations team, you will complete work orders, perform preventative and corrective maintenance, assist with contractor supervision, and ensure all building systems are operating efficiently. You will also support tenant satisfaction by responding to maintenance requests and maintaining a safe, professional environment within the property. What You'll Need to Succeed To be considered for this position, you will possess a 4th or 5th Class Power Engineering Certificate and a minimum of 1 year of experience operating commercial office high-rise buildings. You will have a strong understanding of building systems, including HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems. Strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive approach to maintenance, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are key requirements for this role.
