Project Manager | Owners Representative | $105,000.00 About the job Foresight Recruitment Group is partnering with a global leader in integrated facility management to recruit a Project Manager in Calgary. They want someone who can take full ownership of client projects from kickoff to close-out. This is not a traditional construction site PM role. We are looking for someone who understands that a successful project is measured by the client experience as much as the schedule and budget. Someone who can define scope with stakeholders, build a realistic plan and budget, spot risk early, and keep vendors, project teams and clients aligned through every phase. You'll deliver projects of moderate complexity across a diverse portfolio of client facilities. Many are in occupied, operational buildings, from corporate offices and government facilities to critical environments where downtime isn't an option. What you'll be responsible for: Planning and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects Defining project scope, deliverables and requirements in collaboration with stakeholders Developing project plans, budgets, cost estimates, resource requirements and timelines Identifying project risks and building mitigation and contingency plans Monitoring delivery against schedule and making sure projects finish on time Overseeing project team members and tracking task completion Managing vendor relationships and performance Communicating project status clearly and consistently to stakeholders Making sure all work complies with regulatory, environmental and health and safety requirements Building strong client relationships, resolving issues and managing expectations Bringing a continuous-improvement mindset to project delivery and best practices What we're looking for: 3 to 5 years of project management experience A college diploma or university degree, preferably in architectural, construction or engineering technology, or equivalent work experience A proven track record of delivering projects on time, on budget and within specification Solid experience developing and managing project budgets Strong risk management and problem-solving skills Advanced communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills A high degree of client service orientation Experience managing vendors and contractors Proficiency in MS Project, Excel and Outlook, and the ability to learn new applications quickly Experience in facility management, tenant improvements, owner's-side delivery or occupied-building projects is strongly preferred Candidates may currently hold titles such as: Project Manager | Project Coordinator (Senior) | Facilities Project Manager | Construction Project Manager | Owner's Representative PMP certification or LEED accreditation, completed or in progress, is an asset. What makes this opportunity particularly interesting is the platform. Our client manages a large, diverse portfolio across government, financial services, healthcare, education, telecommunications and data centres. That means varied, meaningful projects and room to grow your career within a global organization. We're looking for someone who takes ownership of the outcome, not just the task list. Interested? Please apply through this posting. All inquiries will be handled in confidence.
