What You Will Do: The Delivery Driver delivers FGI products on their designated routes while building strong relationships with customers. You will work with your branch team members to deliver a high-quality customer experience that exceeds customer expectations through the following tasks: Deliver FGI products to customers on designated routes while building strong relationships with customers Load materials into the vehicle and install straps, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit Check all load–related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate Report any missing or damaged product to management and follow up Pick up cores and any return merchandise and tag at the branch for vendor return Assist inside warehouse between deliveries Other duties as assigned What We Require: 5 years of total driving experience with no major driving infractions, combined with strong knowledge of EDMONTON and surrounding areas — you know the traffic patterns, not just the roads Minimum 1-2 years of courier-related driving with strong customer service experience preferred, combined with a high school diploma or other equivalency certificate Must be able to meet the physical requirements: Occasionally lift up to 75 – 100lbs, sit for long periods of time, drive an FGI vehicle on roadways and highways Must have open availability including Saturdays Previous experience with transporting dangerous goods is preferred but not required Familiarity with aftermarket parts or heavy-duty parts is preferred but not required Proficient with Microsoft Office and other standard office equipment Excellent customer service skills Strong communication skills, including both written and verbal Team-oriented, adaptable, with a commitment to safety excellence What We Offer: Competitive Wages -PLUS Yearly bonus!
