Cafe Quattro located at the Four Points by Sheraton - Kelowna Airport is currently looking for Baristas. We are also on a bus route, with a stop just outside of the hotel, and our complimentary shuttle also picks up our employees from the bus loop at UBCO! Cafe Quattro Hours of Operation: 5:00am-4:00pm What will you be doing? * Greet guests in a friendly, engaging manner and assist with drink/food recommendations * Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea and specialty beverages * Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other beverage making equipment * Take customer orders accurately and efficiently * Operate the POS for processing customer transactions efficiently * Maintain cleanliness in the coffee preparation and serving areas * Uphold food safety standards in food handling and preparation * Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly * Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods * Demonstrate a complete knowledge and understanding of the sequence of service, food and beverage service standards, and all other service standards. * Have full and complete knowledge of all menus * Ability to answer any guest question about food items, beverages and wines in an informative and helpful way. * Additional duties as assigned by Management * Flexibility to work shifts starting at 4:45am What are we looking for? * Previous experience working as a Barista * Serving it Right Certificate * Must be of legal age to serve liquor * Experience working in the food service industry preferred * Food & Beverage knowledge an asset * Exceptional organization with attention to accuracy and problem-solving ability * Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player attitude. * Team player, with willingness to learn new concepts and ideas. * Passion for food, beverage and providing excellent customer service. * Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to multitask. * Ability to stand and be on your feet for long periods of time.
