Job summary

General Description: Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, the successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment throughout the resort. This role supports the safe and reliable operation of resort facilities by ensuring electrical infrastructure is maintained to a high standard and in compliance with applicable codes and safety regulations. Qualifications & Requirements: Required Red Seal Electrician Certification Completion of a recognized electrician apprenticeship program Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and electrical codes Proficiency with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment Preferred Experience in commercial, institutional, hospitality, or facility environments Experience with preventative maintenance programs Knowledge of building systems, controls, motors, pumps, and related equipment Responsibilities: Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems, equipment, fixtures, and controls throughout the resort Diagnose electrical and electronic faults and repair or replace defective components Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems and equipment Install, modify, and upgrade wiring, electrical devices, and distribution systems as required Test electrical systems and components to verify safe and proper operation Respond to maintenance service requests and operational issues in a timely manner Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Ensure all work is completed in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards Support maintenance projects and facility improvements as required Contribute to a safe and professional work environment At Fox Harb’r Resort, we know every employee is a valued part of the team.
