Maintenance Technician

General Description: Reporting to the Director of Maintenance, this position is responsible for completing routine maintenance tasks, responding to work orders, performing preventative maintenance, and assisting with repairs throughout the property. The successful candidate will be a dependable, hands-on individual who enjoys working in a team environment and takes pride in maintaining a safe and well-kept property. Qualifications & Requirements: Required High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience in maintenance, construction, landscaping, property maintenance, or a related field Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair practices Ability to safely operate hand and power tools Strong work ethic and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment Valid driver's license Assets Experience in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment Experience performing preventative maintenance Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or mechanical repair Experience with pool chemical handling and maintenance Experience with HVAC systems Responsibilities: Complete assigned maintenance work orders and service requests Perform routine preventative maintenance on buildings, equipment, and facilities Assist with basic repairs, installations, and maintenance projects Conduct regular inspections of resort facilities and report deficiencies Assist with room maintenance and preparation of guest accommodations Maintain exterior areas, walkways, and grounds as required Support seasonal property maintenance activities Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and organized condition Follow all workplace health and safety procedures Assist other members of the Maintenance team as required At Fox Harb’r Resort, we know every employee is a valued part of the team.
