Job summary
Job description: Warehouse Clerk Franklin Empire Inc. supplies electrical components for new construction, renovation and maintenance of industrial plants, residences and commercial buildings. We provide OEM and MRO solutions (maintenance, repair and operation), lighting design, inventory management, training, automation expertise, and specialized services. We are presently in search of a Warehouse Clerk for our Toronto branch. Under the supervision of the manager and / or supervisor of the warehouse, the warehouse clerk has to perform tasks related to receiving, shipping, maintenance warehouse and merchandising products. * Perform the receipt of the orders; * Review orders before and after deliver to ensure that orders are complete, the charges are correct and the customer is satisfied * Inspect and verify items received in accordance with the delivery documents and the condition of the material received; * Enter data into the system; * Identify products received for stock and products specifically received for customers; * Store products on the shelves located in the warehouse and at the counter; * Operate safely the necessary equipment for product handling (forklifts, hand pallet truck, carriage, wire rod, plastic cutter, etc.) * Select and prepare the items from a purchase order; * Verify and Pack orders before shipping; * Prepare the delivery process (documents, call the carrier and loading); * Assist the attendant at the counter pick-up (if needed); * Ensure maintenance of the warehouse at all times; * Keep shelves clean and do the restocking.
