The Certified Dental Assistant delivers preventive dental programs, conducts dental screenings for children, and provides health education in community settings. They also perform administrative duties, manage equipment, and coordinate logistics for the Pediatric Program. Candidates must have a Grade 12 diploma and successful completion of a recognized Certified Dental Assistant program with at least one year of recent experience. Registration and licensure with the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia and a valid driver's license are mandatory.
