The Nuclear Medicine Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including the preparation and administration of radiopharmaceuticals. They are responsible for operating imaging equipment, monitoring patient safety, and maintaining quality control standards in accordance with safety regulations. Candidates must hold a certification with the CAMRT in Nuclear Medicine and possess a valid Basic Life Support (BCLS) CPR certification. A valid BC driver's license is required for the transport of isotopes between sites.
