The Pharmacy Technician processes and prepares medication orders, performs final checks for accuracy, and maintains inventory levels within the hospital pharmacy. They also manage drug records, handle wardstock requisitions, and ensure the pharmacy work area remains organized and compliant with standards. Candidates must have completed Grade 12 and an accredited Pharmacy Technician program. Additionally, they are required to hold current practicing registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia.
