The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing interventions in an acute medical unit. They collaborate with the interprofessional care team to ensure person-centered care and effective discharge planning. Candidates must have graduated from an approved School of Nursing and hold current practicing registration with the BCCNM. Completion of applicable post-graduate coursework and current BCLS certification are also required.
