The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, and evaluating nursing interventions within a specialized seniors clinic. They collaborate with an interprofessional team to develop person-centered care plans and educate patients and families on geriatric health issues. Candidates must have graduated from an approved school of nursing and hold current practicing registration with the BCCNM. A minimum of two years of recent acute care experience with a geriatric population is required.
