Position Summary Reporting to the Manager, Food & Beverage, the successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of all Deerhurst Restaurant outlets which include; Compass, Drift & Maple Pub. This role will ensure exceptional guest experiences, high service standards, strong team engagement, and effective cost control while supporting the overall objectives of the Resort and Food & Beverage operations. Duties and Responsibilities: * Oversee the daily operations of all three food and beverage outlets, ensuring seamless service delivery. * Maintain exceptional guest service standards and resolve guest concerns in a professional and timely manner. * Ensure consistency in service, presentation, cleanliness, and overall guest experience. * Monitor outlet performance and implement strategies to improve efficiency and profitability. * Coordinate operational needs across restaurants, lounges, banquet functions, and special events. * Support in recruiting, training, coaching, mentoring, and developing food and beverage team members and supervisors. * Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture. * Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback and development opportunities. * Schedule staff effectively to meet business demands while managing labour costs. * Promote employee engagement and support retention initiatives. * Establish and maintain service standards that align with the resort's brand and reputation. * Actively engage with guests to gather feedback and enhance satisfaction. * Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure a seamless guest experience throughout the property. * Respond to guest complaints and service recovery situations effectively. * Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and liquor licensing regulations. * Maintain adherence to company policies, procedures, and workplace standards. * Conduct regular inspections of outlets to ensure cleanliness and operational excellence. * Support workplace safety initiatives and incident reporting procedures. * Work alongside the Food & Beverage Manager to support the Executive Chef and culinary leadership team Qualifications: * Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field preferred. * Minimum 3-5 years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience, preferably within a resort, hotel, or multi-outlet hospitality environment. * Experience managing multiple food and beverage outlets simultaneously. * Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, beverage programs, inventory control, labour management, and budgeting. * Smart Serve Certification * Food Handler Certification preferred. * Proficiency with POS systems, scheduling software, and Google applications. * Valid driver's license considered an asset * Ability to be flexible with schedule being available days, evenings, weekends and holidays Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): * Able to move up and down stairs frequently * Able to occasionally work outdoors in seasonal temperatures The Perks for All Team Members * Gain experience in a fun environment * Free resort pass access: complimentary access to all on site activities and amenities, pool, gym and more! * Hotel, retail and restaurant discounts * Meet new people and work within a great team Visa Requirements: Must be eligible to work in Canada The above job description is not intended to be exhaustive lists of all responsibilities, skills or efforts associated with or expected of the role, but are intended to accurately reflect principal job elements.

Requirements
