You thrive in a changing environment and are able to pivot direction easily WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING * The main activity in this department is the packaging of the ingredients per our different recipes specifications, into their appropriate plastic packaging and kits. * You will prepare and package food items according to weekly recipe specifications with the use and operation of specific single use packaging portioning machines * You will be required to set up and maintain the packaging machines in safe, clean and good operating condition * You will be required to work in a safe manner and to assist in maintaining a clean, healthy, food-safe production facility * This position involves frequent bending and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as part of the essential duties * The role includes end-of-shift cleanup and the proper staging of finished products * You will be working your shift in an area where the temperature is maintained between 0-4 degrees Celsius WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR * OPERATED AND MAINTAINED INDUSTRIAL PORTIONING AND PACKAGING MACHINES IN A FAST-PACED PRODUCTION ENVIRONMENT, ENSURING CONSISTENT OUTPUT AND MINIMAL DOWNTIME * Experience operating and maintaining industrial portioning and packaging machines in a fast-paced environment. * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets for data entry, tracking, and reporting * Strong numerical skills with experience in inventory management and stock control * Solid understanding of allergen segregation and food safety compliance * Clear, articulate communicator with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills * Empathetic team player who practices professionalism and understanding in all interactions What You Can Expect * Hourly wage of $22.20 * Schedule of Thursday to Sunday from 7:00am to 5:00pm * An energetic, inclusive workplace where your voice matters and your contributions drive real impact * Comprehensive health benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance after 90 days * Exclusive food perks that let you experience our amazing products * A culture that celebrates innovation, encourages professional development, and supports work-life balance * The opportunity to be part of a certified B-Corporation making a tangible difference in sustainable food systems Fresh Prep is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE) and prohibits discrimination of any kind.
