Fresh Start Foods is currently hiring two (2) full time Delivery Drivers to join our growing team in Milton, Ontario. We are a leader in foodservice distribution, dedicated to delivering the freshest produce to our customers. Position: Full-Time, Permanent Work Days: Monday – Saturday (Sunday and one weekday off). Shift: Starts at 5:00 AM until the route is finished. Compensation and Benefits Wage: $21.50 per hour Health Benefits: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage (starts after 30 days). Key Responsibilities/What You Will Do Route Delivery: Safely operate a 5 Tonne Truck to deliver fresh produce to various foodservice customers on a scheduled route. Loading & Unloading: Manually offload products at customer sites, ensuring orders are accurate and handled with care. Vehicle Inspection: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with transportation regulations. Customer Service: Act as the face of the company, providing professional service during all client interactions. Documentation: Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure all paperwork (invoices, signatures) is completed correctly. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all road safety laws and company protocols to maintain a clean CVOR and Driver’s Abstract. Required Qualifications/Skills Driving Experience: Previous experience as a Delivery Driver, specifically operating 5 Tonne trucks or similar heavy vehicles, is highly preferred. Licensing: Valid Ontario Driver’s License (G or higher) with a Clean CVOR and Driver’s Abstract. Physical Stamina: Physically capable of lifting and moving up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Reliability: Must be dependable for a 5:00 AM start time and willing to work until the route is finished. Flexibility: Ability to work a Monday to Saturday schedule (with Sunday and one other day off). This job is for one (2) existing vacancy.
