Freson Bros., an Alberta-owned and operated fresh food retail chain, is currently looking for a Temporary Reporting Analyst to join our team based in the Operations Office in Stony Plain, Alberta as coverage for an 18-Month Maternity Leave. Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Working experience with SQL, HTML, Liquid, Python, and Power BI The ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment The ability to understand various corporate IT systems and how they impact an organization Advanced Office 365 and Google Suite skills Strong interpersonal, organizational and project management skills A degree, diploma or certificate in the following disciplines is an asset: computer science, engineering, data analytics, business or a related discipline 1-3 years of report generation experience, within the retail or food industries, is an asset Ability to work full-time at the Operations Office in Stony Plain, AB The Role & Responsibilities: Develop, update, and maintain suites of reports and dashboards Validate and confirm report accuracy Continuously monitor and improve data collection, cleansing and analysis processes Create, maintain, and update accurate project documentation Conduct research activities within the data provided and provide analysis on the industry as a whole Make recommendations based on information gathered and interpreted Collaborate with operations, marketing, finance, analytics, and IT teams Participate in the report and software development process Communicate complex technical and data concepts in an understandable manner for Team Members and non-technical departments Reports to the IT Director Most importantly, the willingness and enthusiasm for continuous learning and development. Position Details: Position Type: Full-Time, Temporary 18-Month Contract Work Environment: In-Office, Stony Plain Salary Range: $50,000-60,000 per annum Estimated Contract Dates: August 2026 - February 2028 Freson Bros. Requirements

Candidates should have 1-3 years of report generation experience and proficiency in SQL, Python, and Power BI. A degree or diploma in computer science, engineering, data analytics, or business is considered an asset.
