About the Role: The operator role involves performing job rotation to all areas of the facility; This means processing and preparing recycled containers. Duties include; loading and unloading an industrial dishwasher, Intake of dirty containers, emptying and sorting them, labelling, sticker removal, scanning, packing. This position reports to the Shift Lead. Key Responsibilities: Loading and unloading dirty/clean product into and out of an industrial dishwasher Job rotation to all areas: Scan, wash, and dry returned (dirty) products Sort products at Intake based on size, scan into box, and package Label new inventory and repackage into box Prepare orders and organize inventory Clean work area daily including sweeping, mopping, wiping down surfaces Duties as assigned Qualifications: Able to take initiative and work individually. Able to work within a team environment. Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures. Able to adapt to varying responsibilities. Ability to read, write, and speak in English. Secondary school diploma. Working Conditions: The facility can be subject to temperature fluctuations. Food residue and odours. Physical Requirements Strength Guidelines Must be able to lift 30lb boxes. At times, must be able to work in hot, humid conditions. Must have good hand/eye coordination. Testing will be required. Motion parameters. Must be able to stand throughout an 8 hour shift involving twisting, and lifting. Vision and Hearing Requirements May be required to use a computer or tablet throughout the shift.
