Position: Resource Teacher (Two Positions) Location: Start Date: September 8, 2026 FTE: 1.00 FTE Term of Employment: Term to June 30, 2027 Application Deadline: Open Until Filled About The Community Helen Betty Osborne Ininiw Education Resource Centre is a Nursery to Grade 12 school serving approximately 1,400 students. It is one of the largest and most unique schools in the province. The school is located in Norway House, Manitoba which is a thriving community situated at the picturesque tip of Lake Winnipeg and the Nelson River. The community is fully serviced with a hospital, shopping mall, two community recreation complexes, a post-secondary campus and daily air service. What You Bring Bachelor of Education Degree and preferably a Master's Degree in Education or related field and valid Manitoba Teaching Certificate (or eligibility for) Manitoba Inclusive Education Teaching certificate or certification in progress Previous experience as a Resource Teacher Excellent understanding of current Manitoba curricula and differentiated instruction Knowledge and training in formal and informal assessment Familiar with appropriate educational programming Knowledge of Indigenous Way of Life (considered an asset) Experience working in a northern community (considered an asset) Applicants Are Required To Submit The Following cover letter current resume list of three professional references including contact numbers, all of whom must have knowledge of the applicant's performance in the applicant's current or recent assignment Thank you for your interest; however, only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted. Requirements
