Job summary

JOB OVERVIEW THE ACCOUNT MANAGER MANAGES AND DEVELOPS ACCOUNTS ASSIGNED TO A SPECIFIC TERRITORY FOR FROZEN, JUICES, PUREES, AND CONCENTRATES PRODUCTS. HIS MISSION IS TO EFFECTIVELY IMPLEMENT STRATEGIC PLANS WHILE INCREASING PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION AND IMPROVING THE BUSINESS SEGMENT’S PERFORMANCE. HE ESTABLISHES STRATEGIC BUSINESS RELATIONSHIPS ALIGNED WITH THE COMPANY’S GROWTH OBJECTIVES, ANALYZES SALES RESULTS, ASSESSES MARKET CONDITIONS, AND ACHIEVES ANNUAL SALES TARGETS. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT (50%) * Achieve established sales targets and contribution to margins; * Negotiate sales terms with customers and follow up on contracts; * Develop relationships with existing customers to proactively create additional sales opportunities, with the goal of expanding the company’s portfolio; * Analyze sales in your territory and identify sales opportunities with your clients; * Participate in new product launches; * Participate in the annual sales planning process (short, medium, and long term); * Respond to client needs, specifically by answering client calls, providing technical information about products; * Collaborate on the implementation of effective sales management tools; * Update customer data in the CRM system and maintain performance indicators (KPIs). BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (50%) * Implement a strategy to identify potential clients; * Target and contact new clients by implementing established sales strategies; * Prepare presentations for potential clients; * Achieve prospecting and new clients acquisition targets; * Support new clients throughout the account opening process; * Monitor industry trends; * Participate in trade shows and industry events. COLLABORATION WITH INTERNAL TEAMS * Contribute to the improvement and development of the various services and products offered by the company; * Communicate industry needs and provide business information to internal teams; * Contribute to the development and execution of the business segment’s strategic plan; * Participate in strategic projects, as needed, in collaboration with internal multidisciplinary teams. QUALIFICATIONS * Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field; * Four (4) to seven (7) years of experience in a similar role; * Have experience selling liquid ingredients (an asset); * International Sales experience (an asset); COMPETENCY TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES * Proficiency in MS Office suite software; * Proficiency in a CRM system (Salesforce an asset); * Strong math conversion (units of measure & currency); BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; * Excellent analytical, negotiation, and influencing skills; * Ability to understand business issues and have a strategic vision; * Strong cold-calling skills; * Attention to detail, organizational skills, and a high degree of autonomy; * Ability to persevere and work under pressure; * Ability to respond to customer needs, solve problems, and take initiative; PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS * Position involving office and remote work; * Position that often requires availability outside regular working hours; * Position that periodically requires travel away from home.
