Join our team as an Accountant! We are seeking a full-time dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant for our manufacturing facility located in Delta, BC. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, you will support the day-to-day financial operations within the manufacturing division of FYihealth Group, including the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close. This is a great opportunity for a driven CPA candidate who loves to learn and wants to grow their career. We are ideally seeking a candidate located in Delta BC, where our Ophthalmic Laboratory is located. What You'll Do Prepare and reconcile monthly sales order reports, ensure timely invoicing of shipped orders, and process additional sales discounts Perform month-end accounting procedures, including general ledger account analysis, preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting working papers Process full-cycle accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing, payment processing, bank deposits, and reconciliations Follow-up on outstanding issues and inquiries with clinics, providing guidance and assistance as required Analyze monthly accounts and reconcile to various systems used within the company Prepare, reconcile, and post intercompany transactions, ensuring maintenance and accuracy in pricing Support the development and implementation of inventory counts and procedures Implement and look to continually improve standard operating procedures and processes and assist in creating and improving internal reporting Assist in the completion of special projects and/or ad hoc projects Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and organizational goals What You Bring Completion of a College Diploma and/or University Degree in a related field 1-3 years of general accounting experience, including experience working with and analyzing large data sets Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Analytical and problem-solving skills A self-starter and highly motivated individual with a drive to learn and improve self and processes Experience with ERP systems particularly NetSuite is considered an asset Outstanding oral and written communication skills Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment A collaborative, adaptable, and proactive team player with a growth mindset, able to manage changing priorities effectively A professional who likes to build positive relationships and have fun! The expected compensation for this position is between $55,300, to $60,000 annually considering factors like experience, skills, and qualifications.
