Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Machine Operators to join our cannabis manufacturing team in our new Aylmer, ON location. The ideal candidate will operate and maintain automated machinery to ensure efficient production of cannabis products while upholding quality standards and cost controls. This role is integral to maintaining product consistency, adhering to regulatory guidelines, and optimizing operational efficiency. Competitive Wage: $25.00 / hour Work Schedule: Two Shifts Available * Day Shift: Monday-Friday - 6:00am - 6:00pm * Overnight Shift: Monday-Friday - 6:00pm - 6:00am Key Responsibilities: * Machine Operation & Maintenance: Set up, operate, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment to ensure consistent and high-quality production. Perform routine maintenance and report any mechanical issues. * Product Quality Assurance: Conduct in-process quality checks to ensure all products meet company specifications and regulatory standards. Identify and address any deviations. * Compliance & Safety: Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Health Canada regulations for cannabis production. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. * Cost Control & Efficiency: Work within established financial parameters to minimize waste, optimize machine efficiency, and support cost-effective production. * Record Keeping & Reporting: Accurately complete production logs, quality control documentation, and equipment maintenance records. * Collaboration & Teamwork: Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality control teams, and fellow operators to ensure smooth workflow and continuous improvement. * Troubleshooting & Problem Solving: Identify operational inefficiencies and contribute to process improvements to enhance productivity and cost effectiveness. Qualifications & Experience: * Previous experience in machine operation, preferably in a manufacturing or food/pharmaceutical/cannabis production setting. * Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot minor equipment issues. * Understanding of cost control principles and efficiency optimization. * Knowledge of Health Canada regulations and GMP (an asset but not required). * Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment with attention to detail. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Willingness to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. Working Conditions: * Standing for extended periods and performing repetitive tasks. * Working in a controlled, regulated environment. * Compliance with safety and sanitation standards, including wearing protective equipment.
