As a Campus Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling an educational facility located at Oakville, L6H 2L1.What's in it for you? Pay: $18.35/hr ($20.60/hr after 3 months) We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Flexible schedules with various shifts available Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Uniform provided at no cost Location: L6H 2L1 Full-Time Schedule: Wednesday: 3pm-8pm, Thurs-Sat: 10am-8pm Responsibilities for Campus Security Guard Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity Verify identities and control access to secure areas React quickly to threats or incidents Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras Document incidents and actions taken Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents Qualifications for Campus Security Guard Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid Ontario security license WSIB approved CPR certificate Minimum 1 year of previous experience Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations Responsive and strong problems solving skills Strong customer service and communication skills This posting is for a position that is currently vacant within the organization.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid Ontario security license and a WSIB approved CPR certificate. A minimum of one year of previous experience is required along with authorization to work in Canada.
