Your keen sense of observation and strong social skills are your greatest strengths. As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling environments such as retail stores, airports, security facility centers, etc. Schedule: Full time availability, Various days, afternoons, evenings, nights Location: Hamilton, Burlington, Oakville, Niagara Region WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? * Hourly wage of $19.50/hr- $28/hr * We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy * Flexible schedules with various shifts available * Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld * Full-time & part-time opportunities * Uniform provided at no cost RESPONSIBILITIES FOR TACTICAL SPECIAL OPERATIONS GUARD * Be trained and familiar with multiple sites and their post orders. * Assist the AM with site operations, setups, and last-minute coverage. * Cover call-offs and leaves of absence as required. * Travel between sites based on operational needs and availability. * Coordinate with the AM and Scheduling Department for staffing and coverage. * Manage visitor access, identification, passes, and keys. * Secure restricted areas and prevent unauthorized access. * Conduct interior, exterior, and parking lot patrols. * Monitor CCTV, alarms, and fire systems. * Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and medical situations. * Assist with evacuations, fire drills, and safety procedures. * Identify and report hazards and security concerns. * Complete daily activity and incident reports. * Assist with investigations when required. * Follow all site security, health, safety, and post-order requirements. QUALIFICATIONS FOR TACTICAL SPECIAL OPERATIONS GUARD * Be authorized to work in Canada * Hold a valid security license * First aid certification required * Previous security experience, preferably in multiple sites or environments. * Reliable, flexible, and available for last-minute coverage. * Ability to travel between sites as required. * Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with the mangers and Scheduling Department. * Ontario Full G or G-2 driver's license This posting is for a position that is currently vacant within the organization.
