LANDSCAPE LEAD HAND GCS is looking for a landscape lead hand to work with our crew in the Edmonton area. We are committed to inclusion and we support youth faced with barriers to employment. RESPONSIBILITIES: Site preparation Digging, shoveling, planting, leveling Operating small equipment and hand held tools Keeping sites tidy and safe Moving materials Site clean up REQUIREMENTS: 2 years experience as a landscape lead hand Valid driver's license and vehicle to get to work Ability to work outside over the summer Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions Able to work long hours (10 hour days) Able to lift up to 50 lbs Great attitude Team player Safety conscious SAFETY TRAINING: CSTS 2020 WHMIS 2015 Ground Disturbance II WHAT WE OFFER: Competitive wages based on experience Opportunities for advancement within the company Hands-on training and skill development Positive team environment Work on a variety of residential and commercial landscape projects throughout the Edmonton and surrounding areas
