Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer (26043)

Our presence in Ontario is expanding, and we are searching for various roles for our London office location, including an Intermediate Engineer within our Geotechnical Division. You will be joining a dedicated and collaborative team of Engineers and Scientists focused on Geotechnical, Hydrogeological, Environmental, and Materials related projects. Key Responsibilities: Assist in geotechnical projects including writing proposals, field work, data analysis, and writing geotechnical reports; Assist in the preparation of field reports; Assist with client management and consultation as required to effectively manage projects and assist in the development of a client base; Assist with mentoring/training junior field staff; Conduct field inspections; and Other duties as required. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in civil engineering (Geological Engineering program may be suitable) from a recognized university. Minimum of 4 years of geotechnical engineering experience in a consulting environment. Excellent writing and verbal communication skills (English), strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage and prioritize several assignments at one time in order to deliver quality work on time and on budget. Experience in geotechnical analysis, evaluations, and inspections. Experience with geotechnical software applications such as Slope/W, Seep/W, Sigma/W, Slide, Settle3D, FLAC, or similar. Be (or eligible to become) a Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario. Be motivated to provide excellent client service and enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary team environment. Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle. The role involves assisting in geotechnical projects through proposal writing, field work, data analysis, and the creation of technical reports. Additionally, the engineer will manage client consultations and mentor junior field staff.

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in civil or geological engineering and at least 4 years of geotechnical consulting experience. Professional Engineer registration in Ontario or eligibility for it is required, along with a valid driver's license.
