We are seeking a Driver to join our team and play a key role in servicing customers safely, efficiently, and professionally. Job Summary In this role, you will operate standard factory-equipped gasoline or diesel truck tractors with flatbed trailers, roll-off units, lugger trucks, lugger trains, and straight trucks to transport steel products and related materials. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of loads while complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and company safety requirements. Key Responsibilities Safely operate commercial vehicles and equipment. Complete deliveries and pick-ups using verbal and written instructions, bills of lading, invoices, and shipping documents. Maintain accurate records, including trip reports, inspection reports, logs, and dispatch documentation. Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, suppliers, and receivers. Assist with loading, unloading, securing, and tarping loads as required. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs. Ensure safe placement of equipment and materials at customer and company locations. Support yard housekeeping, safety initiatives, and operational efficiency. Identify and report unsafe conditions, faulty materials, or equipment issues. Qualifications 9 to 12 months of experience operating large mobile equipment or hauling vehicles. Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)/ (AZ) Current DOT Medical Card (where applicable). Ability to participate in a random drug screening program (where applicable). Strong commitment to safety, customer service, and teamwork. Ability to perform physical work and work in an outdoor industrial environment.
