What you'll be doing Gerrie Electric is seeking a detail-oriented and organized File Scanning Clerk to support our Credit Department on a temporary contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for scanning, organizing, and maintaining electronic records to support document management and compliance initiatives. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, has strong attention to detail, and is comfortable working with large volumes of documentation in a fast-paced office environment. Main responsibilities are: Scan paper documents and convert them into electronic files. Accurately name, organize, and file scanned documents within electronic databases and filing systems. Review documents for completeness and legibility before and after scanning. Sort, prepare, and organize files for digitization. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive customer and company information. Assist with document retrieval and file management requests. Perform data entry and other administrative support tasks as required. Follow established document retention and filing procedures. What you bring to the table High school diploma or equivalent. Previous administrative, clerical, or document management experience is considered an asset. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel. Comfortable using scanners, photocopiers, and other office equipment. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities. Reliable and dependable with a positive attitude. Don’t have all of these qualifications?
