Summary Our St. John’s, NL facility is currently seeking labourers to join our team. Helpers/laborers are accountable to provide support on our fleet of hydro-excavation/line flushing vacuum trucks. Successful candidates will receive in-house training and duties would include but not be limited to; Job Duties * Ensuring that all equipment and systems are being operated to GFL standards * Working with high pressure water * Hydro-excavation of soil/material in exposing water/sewer lines for repairs * Flushing of sewer mains using high pressure water * Cleaning of catch basins * Assisting in the offloading of debris from truck debris tanks * General maintenance in upkeep of vehicles (greasing/cleaning) * Adhering to all applicable operating procedures * Participating in a rotational on-call support schedule as required * Perform other operational duties as assigned. Requirements * Ability to participate in rotational on-call support schedule as required * Ability to lift objects/equipment up to 50lbs * Strong team player with the ability to work independently * Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing * Legally eligible to work in Canada We thank you for your interest.
