Ghent Landscape is looking for reliable and hardworking Landscape Construction Labourers to join our team! This position plays a key role in the installation and maintenance of landscape construction projects, including hardscaping, planting, and site preparation. The ideal candidate is physically fit, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a team environment under various weather conditions. Duties & Responsibilities Assist with the construction of retaining walls, interlocking patios, excavations, and other residential/commercial landscape hardscaping or earthworks projects. Follow landscape design plans to accurately lay sod, spread mulch, and plant trees, shrubs or flowers. Perform general labour duties as required to support crew productivity, including material handling, site preparation and cleanup, hand digging, grading, raking, and assisting with hardscape and softscape installations. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and coworkers. Communicate with the Foreman to ensure project goals are met and job satisfaction is achieved. Adhere to company health and safety training and ensure all reporting requirements are completed. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, maintaining efficiency and productivity. Responsible for your own transportation to and from job sites. Perform other duties as assigned to support the team’s success and project completion. What We're Looking For Previous experience in landscape construction or general labour is an asset. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and small construction equipment. Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy materials and working long hours outdoors. Positive attitude, team-oriented, and dependable. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites. Must be punctual and personable.
