The role We are looking for a proactive, organized, and relationship-focused Sales Assistant to join the team. Reporting to the Director of Brand & Growth, you will support retail and distribution partners, coordinate sales information and documentation, assist with new business development, and help keep account activities moving forward. The role is well suited to someone who enjoys learning, taking on different types of projects, and developing a broad range of skills. RESPONSIBILITIES Sales Support and Partner Relations Maintain regular communication with retail and distribution partners, provide timely follow-up, and help support strong working relationships. Provide partners with current product information, pricing, sales data, and account documentation as directed. Coordinate updates related to new product launches, promotions, and marketing initiatives. Coordinate the timely completion of documentation for new account setup, new item setup, and item maintenance. Participate in weekly sales meetings, share account updates, take clear notes, and track decisions and follow-up items. Maintain an organized summary of active initiatives, upcoming meetings, deadlines, and team action items. Prepare sales materials, presentations, product files, samples, and other assets for partner meetings and trade events. New Business Research and Outreach Support introductory outreach by preparing emails, product files, presentations, and follow-up materials. Track outreach activity, pipeline status, next steps, and follow-up requirements. Conduct targeted market research and in-store reviews to identify category trends and growth opportunities. Help assess which Gleener products and categories are the best fit for prospective partners and their assortments. Trade Shows and Market Support Secure meetings with existing and prospective accounts before and during trade shows through proactive outreach and scheduling. Support trade show preparation, including meeting schedules, sales materials, samples, presentations, and account information. Take detailed notes during trade show meetings and document contacts, decisions, opportunities, and next steps. Follow up with prospective accounts after trade shows to help move conversations forward. Travel with the team throughout North America and Europe to support trade shows, partner meetings, market visits, and key account development. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE Partners receive accurate information and timely, professional follow-up. Account documentation, meeting notes, and sales materials are complete, organized, and easy to access. Sales activities, deadlines, and next steps are tracked consistently. Prospective accounts are researched thoughtfully and supported through organized outreach and follow-up. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Highly organized, resourceful, meticulous, and able to manage multiple deadlines. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working with spreadsheets, presentations, shared files, and account documentation. Experience in sales support, customer service, retail, wholesale, or e-commerce is an asset. Curious, collaborative, optimistic, persistent, and comfortable taking initiative. Able and willing to work in person at Gleener HQ. This is not a remote position. Able and willing to travel within North America and Europe as required.
