Job Title: Hyperion Developer / Environment Validation Specialist Location: Toronto, Canada Work Model: Hybrid (Minimum 3 days/week in-office in Toronto) Position Type: Contract About the Role -Tech Stack & Environmen tHyperion Suite (v11.2.13+): HFM, FDMEE, Essbase, OD I Summa ryWe are looking for someone with strong Hyperion knowledge to assist with the testing and validation of our Hyperion applications and the overall DEV and QAT environment as we seek to streamline its efficienc y. To ensure the new setup and applications are properly validated, the resource should be able to support the following activiti es: Testing Strategy & Execution: Develop detailed test cases for DEV and QAT validat ion.Performance & Load Testing: Create scripts for parallel, stress, and performance testing; compare execution times between the current and consolidated environments; test performance under normal, peak, and concurrent workload conditi ons.Validation: Validate existing Hyperion processes, calculations, business rules, data loads, integrations, reports, batch jobs, scheduled processes, and end-user activit ies.Issue Identification & Analysis: Identify any timeout, performance, stability, or capacity-related issues; determine whether issues are caused by scripts, application configuration, infrastructure capacity, or environmental chan ges.Troubleshooting: Support troubleshooting, issue resolution, and root-cause analysis during test ing.Documentation & Reporting: Document test results, findings, risks, and recommendations; provide input on any required CPU, memory, storage, or configuration adjustme nts.Environment Sign-Off: Validate that the consolidated environments meet business and operational requirements and confirm they are stable and ready for use prior to sign- off. Note: The candidate should be able to test our applications and development/test environments to ensure streamlining does not negatively impact users, business processes, system performance, or ongoing testing activi ties. Key Qualific ationsProven Hyperion Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with HFM, FDMEE, Essbase, an d ODI. Testing & Performance Optimization: Demonstrated track record in stress/load testing, benchmarking execution times, and performance tuning Hyperion applic ations. Troubleshooting Skills: Ability to analyze complex environment issues across application, script, and infrastructure layers. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documenting test findings and interfacing with cross-function al teams.
