Security Specialist- Security Architect Location: Regina, SK Onsite Flexibility: Onsite Contract Details Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: 13 months Pay Rate: C$50.00–C$80.00 / Hour (CAD) Job Summary This role provides security specialist/architect expertise with operational experience to advise and support Operations in addressing identified security gaps. The resource will help contextualize and prioritize opportunities based on existing controls, standards and operational risk, and provide security guidance on solutions developed by Operations. Key Responsibilities Provide security specialist/architect expertise to advise and support Operations in addressing identified security gaps Help contextualize and prioritize opportunities based on existing controls, standards and operational risk Provide security guidance on solutions developed by Operations Produce Detailed Solution Design (DSD): comprehensive documentation of the solution architecture, covering aspects such as system integration, data flow, security measures, and compliance requirements Produce Technical Specification Document (TSD): detailed technical requirements and specifications for the infrastructure solution, including hardware and software requirements, network configurations, and other technical details necessary for implementation Provide related advice, guidance and consultation and preliminary design and documents (CSD - Conceptual Solution Design, Discovery, Core Infrastructure Planning) Required Skills Projects and support that include Cisco, Azure, network, storage, data center, server and related products, from a security solution architecture perspective Preferred Skills Prior operational administrative work in infrastructure (Server/Storage/Backup/Network administration) Important Notes This is a 100% onsite role; in-person interviews are preferred A 3-page resume is required 3 professional references are required per resource About the Client This client is a leading sustainable power supplier operating one of Canada's largest electrical grids, serving communities and industries across the province. Requirements

The role requires security solution architecture experience across Cisco, Azure, networking, storage, data centers, servers, and related infrastructure products. Prior hands-on infrastructure administration experience in areas such as servers, storage, backup, or networking is preferred.
