Senior Project Manager Location: Toronto, ON Onsite Flexibility: Hybrid Contract Details Position Type: Contract Contract Duration: 12 months Pay Rate: C$70.00–C$150.00 / Hour (CAD) Job Summary A major Canadian bank has acquired the Capital Markets business of Euroz Hartleys Group and needs to expand their Project Management team within the M&A group in Toronto to help manage the acquisition and integration of the business. Key Responsibilities Program Leadership & Deputy Capability: Act as the strategic second-in-command to the M&A Program Lead; seamlessly step in to assume full operational control and speak authoritatively on behalf of leadership when required. Stream Governance & Delivery: Drive end-to-end program governance, technical infrastructure integration, and downstream financial/regulatory reporting streams. Stakeholder Management: Manage complex relationships across executive leadership, global business lines, and cross-functional technology teams. Trading System Integration: Oversee the alignment of capital markets trading platforms, workflows, and downstream data dependencies. Required Skills Big 5 Experience: Must have previous, proven experience working on Mergers and Acquisitions projects within a major Canadian Bank. Capital Markets Expertise: Deep domain knowledge of capital markets trading environments and downstream reporting structures. Technical Domain: Hands-on experience with capital markets trading platforms. Preferred Skills IRESS exposure is highly preferred. Prior experience navigating international banking jurisdictions, regulatory landscapes, and cross-border integrations — specifically with Australian, Asian, and UK banks — is a significant asset.
