About the Payroll Administrator Position Our team is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Administrator to join the team. When you join us as a Payroll Administrator, you’ll be tasked with ensuring that all of our employees get paid on time and that any of their questions regarding payroll are answered. The right person for this role will have experience with payroll software and will be able to stay organized while juggling payroll records. Payroll Specialist Responsibilities Collect and maintain information on each employee’s working hours Determine payroll amounts, factoring in any overtime or bonuses Prepare payments to be sent to employees in a timely manner Process payments and checks Ensure that employee taxes and benefits are processed correctly Confirm suggested payments with senior management Answer any employee inquiries about payroll Work to increase payroll service performance Prepare payroll reports for upper management Payroll Specialist Requirements [2+] years experience as a Payroll Administrator or in a similar role BS/BA in accounting, business, or a similar field of study Excellent knowledge of payroll best practices (BC, Sask., Alberta, Ontario and Nova Scotia) Working knowledge of payroll software, (Avanti preferred) Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Superb communication skills Strong problem-solving and math skills Discretion when working with employee records

Requirements
