Minimum 4 days per week in office What We Offer The salary range is $43,000 - $48,000 Potential of up to 15% bonus Medical, Dental, Prescription Drug, and EFAP Benefits after 30 days of employment FULL flex benefits program Company matching RRSP Family culture Advancement opportunities Profit Sharing 128 years, family owned and operated company history Position Summary Supports activities for the outside District Sales Representatives (DSR) including order and delivery interaction between customers via telephone, email and Gordon Ordering. Seeks growth opportunities in existing house customers with knowledge and professionalism as well as strengthening customer relationships by representing Gordon Food Service (GFS) branded products and services. Helps drive account growth and profitability by undertaking administrative job duties as it pertains to the sales department. Use of divisional shared email to address and support the needs as they arise. Key Responsibilities Collaborates with other departments to meet all customer needs, internal reporting and customer record keeping. Participates in general sales meetings, promotions and facilitates food show registration. Assists with recall and other information sharing as required. Takes orders from various customers as needed via phone or email. Stays up to date with product offerings, market trends and customer needs while learning about the organizational offerings and systems. Demonstrates strong customer service skills when dealing with unique or difficult situations. Provides support to sales representatives coordinating customer service, orders, credits etc during special large special events IE: Stampede, PNE, SNE, F1 Race etc. Supports and assists DSR for vacation coverage and seasonally based on needs. Provides routing assistance for changes to deliveries such as time delays, adjustments in delivery days, etc. Details customer complaints, tracks the same issues that multiple customers have, and reports problems as necessary. Performs Other Duties as assigned. Knowledge / Skills / Abilities Must have good customer service and time management skills. Ability to perform 10-key data entry Must have excellent written, verbal, organizational communication. Highly organized with a great attention to detail Encourages collaboration to achieve a common goal A self starter who can work independently as well as part of a team. Must be a strategic thinker, inquisitive, innovative, and creative in order to build relationships, network, link resources and apply business practices Excellent computer skills Ability to learn and use Genysis, Powersell, CRM, Gordon Ordering and other various systems We thank all applicants for their interest, however only those selected for the next stage will be contacted.
