We are seeking an Automotive Technical Instructor to help shape the next generation of dealership technicians by delivering engaging, hands-on training across a broad range of automotive technologies. This is an opportunity to leverage your technical expertise while making a direct impact on service quality, technician performance, and customer satisfaction across an OEM dealership network. If you have a strong background in transmission diagnostics and repair, powertrain systems, advanced troubleshooting, and technical coaching, this role offers the chance to transition your expertise into a highly rewarding training environment. What You'll Do Deliver engaging instructor-led training programs based on OEM service curriculum. Facilitate both classroom and virtual training sessions for dealership technicians. Provide hands-on instruction focused on diagnostics, repair procedures, powertrain technologies, and transmission systems. Support technicians in developing advanced troubleshooting and repair skills. Manage and execute training schedules through Cornerstone LMS and other learning platforms. Collaborate with technical teams to continuously improve training content and delivery methods. Ensure training vehicles, equipment, and learning environments remain fully operational and aligned with OEM standards. Stay current on emerging automotive technologies and industry best practices. What Makes You a Great Fit 5+ years of hands-on automotive diagnostic and repair experience. Strong experience with automatic and/or manual transmission systems, including diagnostics and repair. Experience working with powertrain, drivability, and advanced vehicle systems. Provincial or Interprovincial Automotive Technician License (310S, Red Seal, or equivalent). Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills. Comfortable leading training sessions both in-person and virtually. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and training technologies. Preferred Qualifications OEM dealership experience. Experience using OEM diagnostic equipment, scan tools, and advanced troubleshooting methods. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS).
